Our current project, "The 70's and 80's: Where Did the Underground Go?" is an independent documentary which explores the, at times tumultuous, underground world of the Punk, New Wave, Goth and Techno culture of the 70's and 80's. It was, as all great sub-cultures before it, steeped in the traditions of music, fashion and attitude. While some came for a cause others just came to dance. Either way, they all left with a lifestyle that had decidedly marked their future with an entirely different perspective. They had indulged in the new bohemia and were going to carry the effects of their youthful rebellion with them into adulthood as no other sub-culture before them. We aim to tell the story from firsthand accounts of the fans and bands that lived through it. Fast forward three decades into the present and these sub-cultures still breathe life in the current generation.
